Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of tutoring services provided by Redwood LSAT (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or purchasing tutoring services, subscription programs, or accessing materials through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

We provide LSAT tutoring services, including individual sessions and subscription-based programs, delivered online (via Zoom or other agreed platforms) or in person where available. Any study materials, guides, or resources provided are for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to and be responsible for your participation. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary technology (internet connection, device, software) to attend sessions.

3. Scheduling & Attendance

Sessions must be scheduled in advance through our scheduling system or directly with your tutor.

You are responsible for attending sessions on time and prepared. Time lost due to tardiness will not be made up.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Individual Sessions

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

Cancellations with proper notice are eligible for a full refund.

Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability.

Sessions missed without proper notice are nonrefundable and non-reschedulable.

4.2 Subscription Programs

Subscription cancellations require at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.

If you cancel mid-billing cycle, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund for unused sessions.

Completed sessions are strictly nonrefundable.

We reserve the right to make case-by-case exceptions at our sole discretion.

5. Payment Terms

All sessions and subscriptions must be paid in advance.

Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, and other payments processed through Stripe.

Failed or late payments may result in suspension of services until payment is resolved.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by us (including study guides, worksheets, lesson plans, and digital resources) are our intellectual property. You may not copy, distribute, resell, or otherwise share these materials without prior written consent.

7. Code of Conduct

We expect professionalism and respect during tutoring sessions. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services without refund if a client engages in abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.

8. Limitation of Liability

Tutoring services are provided on an “as-is” basis. While we are committed to supporting your LSAT preparation, we do not guarantee any particular score increase, test outcome, or admission to any specific law school or program. Results depend on individual effort and circumstances outside of our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for those services.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost opportunities, scholarships, or admissions decisions.

We are not responsible for disruptions caused by technical failures, internet connectivity, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected for scheduling, communication, or payment will be used only for delivering services and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law. Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation or binding arbitration in Washington, unless prohibited by law.

13. Community & Discord Server

We may provide access to an online community space, such as a Discord server, for students to connect outside of tutoring sessions. By joining or participating in this community, you agree to:

Communicate respectfully and comply with the rules and guidelines we provide.

Understand that the community is intended for educational support and networking, not official tutoring sessions.

Take personal responsibility for your interactions with other members.

We are not responsible or liable for the content of private communications between students or for any disputes, harm, or issues that may arise from interactions within the community. We reserve the right to moderate or remove access to the community at our sole discretion.
